The paint system is often specified by the customer or end user and can be quite complicated. Quite often the specification will not only say what sort of paint to use, but also who to buy it from – and Sigma are often named as one of the preferred manufacturers. We have a lot of technical knowledge and experience and can help with writing and interpreting paint specifications.
Protective coatings are often 2-pack and applied at much higher thicknesses than industrial finishes.
Our most popular Sigma product is Sigmacover 456 2 pack epoxy enamel. This is often specified as an intermediate or top coat in heavy duty paint systems for steel work, but it is also an easy to apply and very durable 2 pack floor paint.
Sigma also do a range of heat resistant paints and an excellent and long lasting system for refurbishing metal cladding.
