Annie Sloan Soft Wax is the perfect partner for Chalk Paint™. Soft Wax is used for protection and durability and to give a beautiful mellow finish to painted furniture, cabinets, and walls. You can easily apply one or two coats of Soft Wax with a brush or cloth. It has the consistency of soft margarine and has very little odour.
Soft Wax combines two of the purest and hardest natural waxes available - carnauba wax and beeswax. It’s available in Clear and Dark formulations,and can be further coloured with Chalk Paint™. Soft Wax is water-repellent too.
Annie recommends distressing Chalk Paint™ by applying Soft Wax, then sanding.
