Paint for commercial vehicles has to be very tough and give excellent weathering and colour retention properties. These characteristics are 
important for any paint that is used outside so we supply HMG for all
sorts of applications including painting barges, structural steel and storage tanks.
The most popular products we stock are:
Single Pack Fleet Polyurethane Enamel.
Mainly used on
commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery, trailers and
machine tools. Easy to use with very good gloss and abrasion resistance.
Fast-drying it is best applied by spray but it can be brushed or rollered.
Apply over HMG Speedbuild Primer
Coach Enamel
A traditional long oil alkyd enamel. Slow drying so can be applied to large areas by brush or roller. Ideal for painting barges or vehicles. Can also be sprayed. Can be applied direct over most primers but there is also an undercoat (HMG KX Undercoat) which should be used under strong or bright top-coat colours.
Acrythane
A high quality 2-pack polyurethane enamel for newer vehicles - especially good for lorry cabs. XSC21 is the standard version and XSC98 is a high-solids alternative
Gypgloss
A cellulose paint which is excellent for classic cars, aerosols and general industrial use
PVC94
A single pack finish for application to PVC. Typical uses include window frames, pipework and flexible "curtain" sides.
All of the above products are available in British Standard and RAL colours and a huge range of agricultural and commercial vehicle colours from stock in 1L, 2.5L and 5L sizes. Single pack flett polyurethane and coach enamel can be supplied as gloss, semigloss or matt finishes.
