Polyvine Wood Dyes are the perfect product to colour and enrich wood. They are quick drying, light fast, versatile, water based wood dyes with minimum grain raising. Colours can be intermixed to produce the exact shade required and they are suitable for use indoors and outdoors, but must be finished with a suitable coating. Polyvine Wood Dyes are uniquely formulated to avoid the unsightly overlap marks that can be a big problem with some wood dyes, giving an even lustrous finish.

Application
Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake. Apply liberally with a brush, sponge or clean cotton cloth and wipe off any excess immediately, working with the grain wherever possible. For a lighter shade, the dye may be diluted with water. For a stronger colour apply a second coat after 4 hours. If more than one container is needed, mix them together to ensure uniform colour. Always apply to a test area before starting work. Do not apply in direct sunlight. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C. Instructions in the technical data sheet must be followed. We recommend protecting with a Polyvine water-based interior/exterior varnish after leaving to dry overnight.
